Two Great AirFix sets meet up across close to 6 decades….

Teamed up across decades. Normandy Hot LZ as depicted by two AirFix HO/OO scale sets. The figures are AirFix Set 01723 British Paratroops. Released in 1965. In the lower right of the grouping is fellow unloading the included ‘Bombcell’ supply container. There were 33 figures in 17 poses. In our vignette is a painted example of the oft remarked upon Paratrooper firing up…the vehicles are from the model construction kit A02339, Willys British Airborne Jeep, with 10CWT Airborne Trailer and 75mm Pack Howitzer M1 (still on its landing sled.) This is a current Hornby Hobbies AirFix set.
